BlockMarshal alerts the people around you. It does not contact emergency services and is not a substitute for them. In Ghana: 191 police · 192 fire · 193 ambulance · 112 general emergency.
When reporting a problem, tell us your phone model, whether you are using the app or the website, and what you were doing when it happened.
Check that notifications are enabled for BlockMarshal in your phone's settings, then open Settings › Notifications in the app and confirm the alert types you want are switched on. If you are in a Block Watch group, incidents inside your group's area are sent first.
An SOS created without a network connection is queued and sent automatically once you have signal again, for up to 30 minutes, after which it expires and you are told. If an SOS stays queued, you are almost certainly offline — call 191 directly rather than waiting.
Face verification needs even lighting, a clear view of your face, and no hat, sunglasses or mask. Government ID is optional — it earns a trust badge but is never required to use any feature, including SOS.
Sign-in codes are sent by SMS or email and can take a minute to arrive. Check your spam folder for emailed codes, or try the other method on the sign-in screen.
Open Block Watch and create a group for your street, compound or estate, then share the invite link in the group chat you already use.
Open Settings › Plan. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then reverts to Free. Registered assets above the Free limit are kept but become read-only — nothing is deleted.
Open Settings › Privacy & Legal › Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, your face verification data and your personal information. If you cannot access the app, email privacy@blockmarshal.com from your account address and we will process it for you. See the data deletion section of our Privacy Policy.
